Sara Heimann

Congratulations to Sara Heimann on the publication of her chapter in the book Teaching Business Information Literacy, published by ACRL. Sara collaborated with Summer Krstevska (Business, Economics & Data Access Librarian, Wake Forest University) on a chapter for the edited book of practice-based lesson plans and activities to support business information literacy instruction in academic libraries. The chapter, “More Than a Secondary Strategy: How to Actively Incorporate Primary Research into Your Instruction Session,” outlines a multi-part active learning exercise which seeks to increase entrepreneurs’ familiarity with best practices for conducting effective and ethical primary research.
